The Kleger family runs the kitchen and welcomes guests at the entrance, and this restaurant is a place to be in the lower mountain area of St. Moritz. You can reach it on foot, by car, or by horse. On sunny days, the spacious terrace has stunning mountain views and plenty of sun. The menu ranges from Bratwurst to Caviar, and the truffle dishes are all excellently prepared. The cellar has everything from beer and superb wines to champagne. Highest quality all around, with wonderful staff. Always worth a visit.

The view is magnificent from this spot above town, and I really appreciated the spotless window that let me enjoy it. Rooms are cosy, breakfast is generous, and the staff are friendly and helpful. When walking up, don’t miss the Schellenursli trail, which turns left into the forest. I’d happily return.

I’ve been here nearly a month and absolutely love it. The hotel sits right on the slopes, not too far above town. The rooms are clean, and management is very orderly. The restaurant food is wonderful, service is impeccable, and the staff and waiters are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant. Love it!

We were a group of friends, and one server made a fuss about seating us and was extremely rude. It felt like it was because we weren’t wealthy guys wearing fur. Another server eventually found us a table, and we ordered lunch. The bill was steep, and the food didn’t live up to the prices. Cordon-bleu was 54 sFr, so we expected quality. The polenta and Engadiner Hirschwurst were incredibly dry. The ravioli tasted very good, but the portion was really, really small for 36 bucks. Spaghetti with tomato sauce was 26 bucks for a small serving too. It’s extremely expensive for mediocre food and portions. Maybe diners here don’t mind paying way too much for way too little. I’d suggest another restaurant on the slopes. It might still be expensive, but at least you could get good food and service.
