The breakfast was phenomenal, and we had a perfect mountain view from our room. The location was great too, just a short walk from Interlaken West station. We had a wonderful stay!

The view was breathtaking, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. One staff member deserves a special mention for giving great recommendations for things to do in Interlaken and patiently answering all my questions. My room was comfortable and had all the essential facilities, and the location was very convenient and easy to get around from. Everything about my stay was exceptional.

I’ve changed my rating and response after Max’s sincere reply. Thank you very much. Maybe we’ll give this place a second chance one day. Original comment, 2 stars: The location is nice, but the young receptionist made our stay unpleasant. We arrived on the afternoon of 21.12.2025, expecting a warm welcome after reading the good reviews. She seemed irritated from the start. When we called reception to ask for extra pillows, she kept sighing and said they were fully booked and had none for us. There was no apology for running out, and she suggested we ask again the next night. She didn’t even check that we were only staying one night. We felt there was no sympathy or help.

John deserves special thanks for welcoming us weary travelers and making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were welcoming and ready to answer our questions. We were traveling as a couple, but it was clear families could stay here comfortably too. If you’re in the Interlaken area, I highly recommend the Beau Site. Outstanding!

The mountain view from my room was stunning, and the room was spacious with clean beds. The shower curtain had a slight smell, though it wasn’t a big issue for me. I could hear a few footsteps from upstairs, but nothing major, and breakfast had a good selection. Check-in gave me a scare because none of my cards worked. The reader wouldn’t let me enter my PIN and kept displaying “last PIN try incorrect” for every card, even my debit card. Luckily, I could get cash from a nearby ATM and pay that way. I’d thought Expedia had already charged me, but I was mistaken. Lesson learned, carry backup cash and extra cards when you travel. You never know when you’ll need them.
