The park behind the building has a playground, pond, and petting zoo, so there's something for children too. Even without kids, I recommend walking to the back of the park and building for the unusual view of old town's skyline. The hosts tend to keep in the background, but they're friendly and forthcoming when you speak with them. We had a wonderful night here. B&B Bett am Weiher is right in the middle of Wil's old town, beside the city hall. It's in one of the area's beautiful medieval buildings, and you can tell the house is old: the stairs are narrow, the floors creak, and the walls are thin. Still, it's clearly been cared for and renovated while keeping its character. The old woodwork and decoration give the place a distinctive, luxurious charm. Taking the many flights of stairs down the mountain to the garden is quite an experience. Wil itself is quiet and charming.
