Hotel Alpenblick

For 40 CHF a night, I got my own room because the hostel was nearly empty. It’s a great price for Switzerland, and it was fine as a place to sleep, though the building feels very dated, like it’s from the 1980s. I think there was a kitchen guests could use. I stayed for three nights from September 10, 2023. The bar was closed, so there was none of the extra noise mentioned in other reviews. To book, you have to email, then collect the key at the ski station, a five-minute walk downhill. The location is handy, and public transit goes right to the hostel door. I’d come back in summer, though I’m unsure about winter because of the bar noise people mention.

Really good. I’d recommend it.

A lovely spot to soak up the sun, have a drink, and chat in the crisp mountain air.

Sadly, what you get for the price just doesn’t feel like enough.
