The staff in the breakfast area were warm and attentive, and I appreciated the service room on level 2. It has a microwave, washer and dryer, a food and beverage machine, plus towels, plates, bowls, and cutlery for food bought outside. I just wish there were one on every floor. Breakfast was decent, though the food choices seemed the same each day. I was surprised they served rice, since most of the other European hotels we stayed at only served bread. Our tour operator had booked the hotel, so we didn’t really have a choice, and the rooms had already been assigned. My wife is a PWD with mobility issues, so I asked for an accessible room. The older man at reception was not welcoming and said they were full, but I’m not sure he checked the computer. It made a poor first impression. Management should retrain him, or they’ll lose repeat customers. Our room on the third level was clean and a decent size. There was no fridge, toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers, but they did provide body and hair gel and clean towels. There was no bottled water in the room. The hotel says tap water is safe, and I believe them since we had no ill effects from drinking it. The hotel is too far from the center for us. Getting there from Zurich HB takes two trains or trams and about 30 minutes. If we had a choice, we’d book closer to the center to save time, especially when travelling with a senior or PWD. I also couldn’t see any open shops nearby.

There was plenty of breakfast to choose from, including fruit and vegetables, and it was amazing. The location worked perfectly for me, just an 8 minute drive so I could get there on time the next day. The bathroom was all good and very clean. My room had lots of light and more than enough plugs for my laptop and phone. A really nice place, with friendly personnel. Thanks a lot.

We stayed six nights with our 22 months old kid, and the hotel was just as we expected from the reviews. The cot was provided free for our child, and housekeeping came every day. Someone was always available at reception for questions or anything we needed. It’s a 2 mins walk to the tram station. From there it took about 30 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel on a single tram, and about 15 mins to reach the city centre using tram and metro. The rooms were nicely laid out, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. We arrived in early December. Breakfast was the letdown: the scrambled eggs were undercooked, there was no hot meat, the French toast was cold, and the coffee was burnt or made with poor quality beans, I’m not sure which.
