I'd come back for the warm, professional service. The room was clean, bright with natural light, and the breakfast was simple but ample. The shower space could be bigger, and the king-size bed was actually two single beds pushed together.

Hotel Neufeld is easy to find and sits near tram and bus stops, which makes getting around convenient. Cleanliness was good, but the stay was otherwise average. Rooms are quite small, and the lighting throughout the hotel is dim, which affects the feel of the place. Facilities are limited: there's a shared hot tea maker and an oven at reception, but nothing like that in the rooms, which may be inconvenient. It covers the basics without standing out.

The best extra was the free parking, if you can get a space, as there are only six spots in the nearby lot. The hotel isn't in the city center, but tram no. 9 leaves from right in front and takes about 15 minutes to reach the lake, with tickets available from the machine there. Rooms were spacious and clean, though a little dated, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Tea, coffee, and croissants were available at reception all day, and breakfast was a standard continental one. Good value for the quality.

The room was okay but quite small, and the bathroom felt cramped too. Reception and breakfast buffet service were great, Wi-Fi was free, and the tram stop is just 50 meters away.

It's a really nice, quiet place and very close to the tram stop. With a Zurich Travel Card, you can get around the whole Zurich area from here. Ask for one of the balcony rooms, they're really nice.
