The reception team's kindness changed our impression of the hotel. At first it didn't seem very new, and our room was close to the railway tracks, which made us uncertain. But the staff were so welcoming. During check-in we told them it was our son Alp's birthday, and that we'd brought him to Switzerland to see the Alpine mountains for the first time. We had a lovely conversation. Once we reached the room, reception called to say they'd found our daughter's toy in the lobby and brought it up. They soon delivered a very clean baby bed for our son, then surprised us with a delicious birthday cake and a sweet handwritten note. That thoughtfulness really touched us. We also discovered we could see the Alps from the room despite the nearby railway. We recently stayed at Sheraton Zurich, and we're grateful to the team for their care and attention. They made Alp's birthday unforgettable. Thank you for everything!

Getting into Zurich for shopping or a meal was easy, since the local train stops right outside. The hotel itself was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were courteous and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the tram stop beside the hotel gets you to the city centre in about 10 minutes. After a tiring journey, Christian at the front desk kindly let us check in early, even though we only had half a day in the city. He also showed us how to buy a tram pass.

The only real downside for me was the A/C. Even on the club level it never got as cool as I wanted. Otherwise, the location, staff, and amenities were excellent, with transport, shopping, and the river trail for a stroll or run nearby. The rooms felt fresh and clean, the soundproofing was great, and I could open the windows for some Swiss air.
