The lagoon view was gorgeous, and the quiet, secluded setting at Aitutaki Seaview made it a peaceful place to unwind. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful, and their service really stood out. We stayed one night. The room was a little old and could use some updating, but it was comfortable enough for a short visit. If you want a simple, quiet overnight stay with a lovely lagoon view, this place does the job.

The kids could roam freely and we felt they were safe. The room was really clean and had everything we needed for a perfect beach getaway. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

The location is superb for the price, and the self-service setup suited us well. We knew it was a little dated when we booked, so that was fine. At the airport, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a lovely lei each, and kayaks were available to use. The Wi-Fi was slow and there weren't any TV channels. Honestly, that made it easier to switch off and enjoy being in Aitutaki, away from it all.

My favourite of the places we stayed during our time in Aitutaki and Rarotonga. We had the best sunset on the island, and the lack of light pollution made night photography great. I also loved running in the morning along the empty beach and having a kitchen in the accommodation for meal prep. Absolutely stunning.

The chalets are right on the beach, clean, tidy, and set up for self-catering. The manager met us at the airport and drove us back when it was time to leave. The weather was on our side and the whole stay felt magical. Restaurants were about a 2 km walk along the beach. Walking there at sunset and returning later under the moon was lovely. We paid around $260 a night, which I thought was very reasonable for white sand, palm trees, and a lagoon right outside. We fell in love with Aitutaki and will definitely stay again. Rarotonga is laid-back, but Aitutaki is on another level of relaxed, it's perfect. We hired scooters, which were delivered to our chalet before we arrived and picked up the morning we flew back to Raro.
