Hostal La Siesta

The broken bedroom door was never repaired, even though they said they’d fix it right away. We had to get in through the window. They also promised hot water, Wi-Fi, and a fan, but all we got was a small fan. There was no apology for the bad experience or for wasting time from my hard-earned vacation. It was expensive, and what they offered wasn’t delivered. The place we paid for wasn’t even good for the price, and it was filthy when we arrived. I saw at least four dead cockroaches on the floor. We complained, and they put us back in the place we’d paid for, but their negligence had already wasted our valuable time. They’d kicked us out of the establishment because of their negligence, so we complained to stand up for our rights after paying for all four days in advance. The “apartment” they offered was actually a half-built house, nothing like what they’d promised, just a small room with a bunk bed and a double bed. The place was terrible.

The owner is so helpful and cooperative. She personally helped me even in situations beyond her reach. Many blessings to her 🙏 and thank you for her care.

The location is good, across from the terminal, and the beds are good. It’s clean and tidy, with good service and towels provided. They don’t offer breakfast.

A cheap place with good service for a short stay. I stayed with my family before we left for Santiago. It works for an overnight stop, more like a motel for brief trips.
