The owner was super friendly, and we really appreciated how flexible he was when we had car trouble. The cabins had everything we needed, with nature all around but a very central location. A perfect stay.

It's an easy walk into town for the Mercado and restaurants, and the place is tucked away beautifully in the woods. Ignacio speaks English and Spanish very well, and will restart the stove fire whenever it needs it. Poti the cat is very friendly.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the cabin warmed up easily. The host speaks English, is very friendly, and will help with whatever you need. It feels like you're staying in a remote forest, though the town centre is only a five-minute walk away. Great accommodation in Chaitén.

Watching the trees sway through the big glass sliders and listening to rain on the roof was so relaxing. The cabins sit in a lush green forest at the edge of Chaitén, yet dining and exploring in town are only minutes away, and the ferry dock is easy to reach. Ours was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed, plenty of hot shower water, a little kitchen that suited us, and a wood stove that kept it toasty. The Wi-Fi was excellent, though we mostly enjoyed the peaceful view. The cottages are placed thoughtfully, with little disturbance to the forest and trees providing natural privacy between them. Ignacio looked after us, kept us updated as the ferry schedule changed, and was accommodating when we needed to adjust our stay. We were grateful for the quiet time before the long ferry journey. Wonderful, tranquil stay.
