Cabañas Orion

I've stayed twice, and both visits were really good. The cabins are very nice, and the staff are pleasant. I'd love to return. You can hear the neighboring cabins, so better insulation would help, but that doesn't outweigh how comfortable the cabins are.

The cabins are in a great location, tucked away from major hazards, but that's the one real plus. The facilities need maintenance, and the services are poor. They don't supply towels, so bring your own, along with toiletries and other basics. Honestly, it's only suitable for sleeping, and I'd avoid a stay longer than two days. I will not be back.

We couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work, and showering was a struggle too. There was no hot water in our shower, so in the cold night air we had to fiddle with the water heater and showerhead just to get water that was decent. The parking area is too small for the number of cars, and some people parked across our driveway, which could stop someone leaving in an emergency. The cabins' website doesn't match what was provided, and the price felt far too high for the service. There's very little furniture, not even a sofa, and some cabins don't have a microwave. You can hear everything from the other cabins, so there's no respect for anyone trying to rest. In the end, it was only good for sleeping, since even the shower and Wi-Fi weren't usable.

Cabin 1 had one bedroom and a futon in the living room, with room for four. It was equipped with what we needed for cooking and a few days near the beach, and it was clean. The bathroom was a little small. We booked through Booking.com, but had to pick up the keys in a different area. They didn't provide towels.
