We got a great volcano view from a clean, pleasant room, and the location couldn't have been better. The shower had good pressure and enough hot water. The owner was very kind, letting us check in at 8am and giving us a snack bar that came in handy before hiking. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I've been back a couple of times. The rooms are clean, the internet works well, and the lake is only a block or two away. Really good value.

Right in the center and close to everything, with daily cleaning and excellent service. The price was very good too. We had a small apartment that still had all the comforts: a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with a bed, and a very comfortable bedroom with a queen-size bed and wardrobe. There was also a great TV and a very comfortable bathroom. Everything was spotless. Definitely a 10/10.

The private-bathroom room had a lake view, and the whole place was clean and well organized. The owners leave a kettle, cups, spoons, cookies, tea, coffee, and energy bars out for guests. The hostel's location is excellent, just steps from the lake and near all the amenities. It was quiet outside, but sound carried around the hostel despite there being only a few rooms. They also only take cash.
