In all my time in Chile, this is the best room and the best breakfast I've had.

Everything was spotless, from the place itself to the rooms. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, and breakfast was excellent! 🙌🏻

We rented two rooms and spent our days out, so there hadn't been any problems during our three-day stay. On the second day, they said one of my bills was an issue. We tried to exchange it at the bank, but it was the weekend. The next day I was about to hand over that bill and pay for another night in both rooms when the elderly woman who runs the place spoke to me very rudely. She said she'd rather I pay and leave because she didn't want to “deal with people like us.” It was my wife, my daughter, her boyfriend, and me. In nearly 50 years, I've never been treated this badly. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Find somewhere else in the city with people who are worth your time, and leave your money there. Pay by card, or if you pay in dollars, take photos of the bills. I still wonder whether the bill she gave back the next day was the one I'd handed over. A place to forget and never set foot in again. P.S. She gave me no receipt and wouldn't accept a card, only cash.

We came in from Natales looking for a hostel and wound up here. The woman who greeted us was rude, giving us a look up and down and seeming annoyed by our big backpacks. When we asked about a room for four, she sarcastically said they only had rooms for two. We asked the cost of two double rooms, and she struggled with the calculation, quoting $65,000 for each. The room was horrible. A hotel would have been much better. Luckily, there was a cheaper hostel just 20 meters away, with a full breakfast, more class, and better service. I absolutely do NOT recommend this hostel.
