The llamas wandering around the property are a charming, almost surreal extra. You can also come just for dinner, which is rare for hotels in this area. Activities and transfers were reliably arranged, well coordinated and adapted to what we wanted. The setting is peaceful and feels private, with a great location for experiencing the Atacama. It’s clear the hotel is still developing, which makes the team’s dedication and attention to detail stand out even more. It really helps to communicate your preferences and expectations clearly ahead of time. The food was excellent throughout, fresh, creative and high quality, with every course a treat. The service team took great care over everything, from the waitress and drinks maker to the pâtisserie chef. The whole team was warm and professional, especially Franz, the hotel manager, whose attentiveness really shapes the atmosphere at Unai Atacama.

The owners are lovely, and llamas even come up to the garden in front of your private tent. The bathroom is in a class of its own, and the beautiful fixtures and other details are exquisite. We loved the furnishings, the calm setting away from the restaurants, and the attentive service. The coffee was the best we had on our whole four-week trip. My birthday dinner was outstanding, with a chef who’s a creative genius. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d go back in a heartbeat! ❤️

They pay attention to even the smallest parts of your stay and travel plans, and really try to make everything go smoothly. The service and accommodation were among the best I've experienced. Such a lovely experience, they deserve all those claps! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The whole staff made us feel at home, always helpful and greeting us with such warm smiles. It really felt like love was in the little details, and we already miss the place. We spent five days there and were so glad we chose it. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the decor was easy on the eyes and cozy, and the bathroom was lovely with hot water. The room was comfortable temperature-wise, too.
