The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful, and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. We stayed two nights and enjoyed it, especially for the price and location. There were a few odd things, though: our bathroom door was too large for its frame and wouldn't close, and the terraza wasn't open except, apparently, on weekends. The listing also mentioned a restaurant and free breakfast, but neither was available. Even so, I'd recommend the place and stay again.
My room had a simple, stylish look without too much clutter, and the bed, bedding, and memory foam pillows were excellent. The hotel is now called Augustina Lucia Boutique Hotel. I appreciated that the man at reception tried to help me in English, and that they'd turned on a fan heater before I arrived so the room was cosy. I really liked the place and definitely recommend this small hotel.
The staff are very kind and friendly, congratulations to them. The kitchen, especially, needs more frequent cleaning, and the bathrooms could use it too. Guests should be encouraged to keep things organized and clean, and perhaps some work could be done on the building. Breakfast could also offer more than just butter and toast.
I booked a private room, even though this is a hostel, and still had a terrible stay. The hosts seemed to be in a bad mood, weren't nice, and didn't try to help. My room and bathroom weren't clean, and constant noise made it almost impossible to sleep. Breakfast was the worst part: two slices of bread, very poor coffee, and only a few things to help yourself to. I really can't recommend staying here.
The breakfast was generous, at least. The rest of the stay was awful: sticky black floors, filthy bathrooms, and a smell of sewage and fish. Noise from traffic and other guests kept waking me up, and there were bedbugs too.
