The common areas were my favorite part, and the staff were friendly. What let me down was the room: it didn’t match the photos, the window had no view and brought in no natural light, the bedside lamp was broken, and there was a stain on the sheets. I chose this place because it looked like a historic building. For less money, I could have rented a whole apartment a short distance away, so those details were disappointing. Other guests on my floor ran through the corridors and made noise, and nobody told them to stop. I suppose the hotel can’t be held entirely responsible for that.

The breakfast was especially disappointing: no eggs, fruit, or orange juice, just cheap cornflakes and kumis in very cheap market containers, or coffee you had to make yourself. There was no shampoo, nothing to drink, and the soap seemed far too cheap for a “3 stars hotel.” You had to go to a nearby convenience store, though the area felt dangerous. If hotel staff brought you a bottle of water, they charged double. When I complained the next day, nobody knew anything about it, so I lost my money. The website photos are heavily photoshopped, and I left very disappointed. The service was terrible. The TV didn’t work, and the shower tap was broken. I was there just two days ago. I honestly don’t know how Chilean authorities rate hotels, but this place was horrible for a 3 stars hotel. I’d never recommend it. My name is Frank Silval, as shown on my passport.

The beds were great, and it’s a warm, welcoming place. The bathroom setup could be better, but it works fine. I’d stay again.

The hostel has only the basics, but there’s heating and the staff are really friendly. The Wi-Fi is extremely slow, though.

The common area is disgusting, the staff are rude, and the internet doesn’t work. It only connects on the first floor. Worst value for money I’ve ever had!
