It was clean and generally quiet, and getting around to other places was quick. The neighborhood seemed somewhere in the middle, neither great nor terrible. What put me off was learning the hotel can be booked by the hour for a couple of hours, which felt weird and means I wouldn’t return. They also accept cash only, in pesos, with no cards or US dollars.

The owner came to our room at 11 pm and threatened us over the one-star review my husband had posted on Google. He knew we had to be up at 3 am for a flight. That was completely inappropriate, and the aggressive response only backfired. I wouldn’t recommend supporting this business. The parking was at their other hotel, one block from Teatinos. To confirm the price, pay in US dollars, or get a receipt, we had to keep going between the two places to speak with the manager. We asked the receptionist at Teatinos to call the other hotel so we could avoid the extra steps, but she refused. My husband was already fed up with all the running around and posted the review right away. Running two hotels should make things easier for customers.

You get the basics, including an LCD TV and Wi-Fi, plus basic help from the staff. There’s no air conditioning or heating. They could add Deltalis to the room or breakfast.

We picked it because the price looked good and parking was advertised on site. In reality, the parking was a block away, and they then tried to charge about 30% more than the listed price. The woman at the office was very unhelpful. Avoid this place!
