We're travelers from the US, and this was a fantastic stay. The included stargazing tour was an incredible experience, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also had a tasty breakfast, secure private parking, and an easy walk to the square. I could say so many good things about the place and would definitely recommend it.
A great place to relax and get your energy back.
I was lucky to find this place when searching for somewhere to stay with my family. The reception area is spacious and lovely, and the receptionist was very friendly and helped me choose a room. The beds were clean and really comfortable. Even though the bathroom was shared, it was very clean too. The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the main square.
The restaurant is delicious, and breakfast is included, though it's served at set times. I requested a room with its own bathroom, which cost 35,000 pesos per night. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, the service is excellent, and the place is close to the city center. Highly recommended.
For motorcyclists, the easy access, nearby parking, and comfortable place to rest make it a good stop for planning routes through the Elqui Valley. Hostal Ashpai is becoming a strong accommodation option in Vicuña, with welcoming service, a central location for unwinding after a long ride, and a quiet, clean setting that travelers rate highly. The value for money is good too.
