The ocean view from our beautifully renovated room was fantastic. It was comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, but the staff made the biggest impression. Our Spanish was very limited, yet they went out of their way to make us feel at home with genuine warmth and care. Breakfast had exceptional quality and variety, among the best we’ve ever had. We also ate dinner at Hotel Isla Seca three times, and every meal was creative, beautifully prepared, and superb. The location gives you peace and quiet with easy access to the surrounding area. We’d gladly return and recommend Hotel Isla Seca for a memorable coastal stay in Chile.

The bathroom floors were heated, which was a highlight. The views from our room were great, and we could hear the ocean. Service was excellent, and the beach is a short walk down a path.

The food is very good, and you feel safe staying here. For me, Isla Seca is Chile’s best hotel, especially because of the location and the staff. They’ve done so many good things for me across two visits, years apart, that I can’t begin to list them.

Tucked along the north side of Zapallar’s Pacific coast, this hotel has a distinctly elegant feel. It’s hard to put into words, and offers a one-of-a-kind experience on Chile’s west coast.

Bring a heater if you stay here. The room was small but neat, with a little balcony, and the hotel itself was nice. But there’s no heating, and with the outside high only around 13 C (32F), we were freezing indoors. The Wi-Fi was weak, as was the celular data signal we had to rely on. Cable TV had few channels, with Spanish as the only option. We left earlier than planned because staying there just wasn’t comfortable.
