CHI Residences 120

I spent about three weeks at CHI residences in Sai Ying Pun over the holidays, and it made my visit back home really enjoyable. I liked the spacious room, where I could stretch out on a yoga mat, and the bedroom had a cool sliding door connecting it to the living room. They provided cooking utensils, pots, and pans, so staying in to make a meal was an option. The bathroom was lovely, especially the roomy shower. The staff at CHI and management were always smiling and super friendly. The building is right by the harbour, with striking night views and a balcony where I could sit and look at the Kowloon skyline. Buses and the MTR station are just downstairs, which made the location very convenient. I'd definitely recommend it.

It felt like a home away from home, with lovely staff, a good spot in a great neighbourhood, and really spacious apartments. The harbour views were incredible and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was good too. The kitchen was very small, and the furnishings felt a bit dated and tired, which is why I held back the fifth star. Still, I'd highly recommend CHI 120.

The views and sunlight were lovely, especially from the upper floor apartments, which look out over the harbour. The Western part of Hong Kong Island is close to the business districts, and most things are within walking distance or a few tram stops away. Staff were generally friendly, smiling, helpful, and willing to assist. There's also a WhatsApp service to contact them. Housekeeping collects rubbish daily and changes towels once a week. The expensive rent felt harder to justify without a washing machine in the apartment. Residents have to use the shared machines on the 5th floor, where there are only three washers and three dryers, not enough for everyone. Some residents occupy dryers for a long time, setting cycles for three hours or more and continually adding newly washed clothes, so they can use them all day. Pest control also doesn't seem regular, as tiny spiders and mites show up often. The kitchen is so small it takes away the desire to cook.

The apartment was the largest and most spacious one-bedroom serviced place with a balcony that I found in HK. There was lots of cupboard space and a stunning view. It's easy to get to the pier if you're travelling to or from Macau, and there's a lovely path along the harbour for walking to Central. The staff team was lovely too.
