Tempo Inn West Kowloon HSR Station

For two days, everything was good: clean room and toilet, good location, working AC, and an easy check-in and checkout. Given the accommodation options in HK, I thought it was great value. A water dispenser would have been nice.

The room smelled awful and looked poorly maintained. In the morning, sewage water came up through the floor, spread across the room, and soaked my luggage. The water contained feces and urine. 😖😭😭 The person in charge seemed indifferent and dismissive, with no sense of responsibility or care. The hotel was hard to find, and although it claims to have a 24/7 front desk, there was nobody available. Completely unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying here. 😤😤😡😡😡

After a long day of travel, we really appreciated the receptionist letting us check in early. The rooms were small but clean, with crisp sheets and fresh pillows. Water pressure was strong, and the Internet connection worked reliably. The location is handy, with lots of restaurants and TST nearby. I'd definitely recommend the place and plan to stay again.

They charged me $2500 dollars, and I feel scammed. First they tried to put me in the wrong room type, calling it a "free upgrade." The air conditioning didn't work, and nobody could come fix it until the next day. They said I could get a full refund because I wasn't staying there, then stopped responding, so I had to file claims through booking.com. After that, they told booking.com I had stayed at the hotel and everything was fine. Stupid scammers. I don't know how they have so many good ratings, but I would 100% avoid this place.
