We stayed for six nights last December 2018. The room was clean in general, though it wasn't hotel standard. They changed the bedding and towels every day, and put in mothballs, but you could ask them to take those out. Our corner room, number 7, had two beds. It was small, including the toilet, but enough for us. The building had enough staff monitoring the area, and there was working CCTV, though the guesthouse had no staff at night. There was a double lock. You're mainly responsible for your own personal safety. The location was a big plus: close to the MTR, Star Ferry Terminal, China Ferry Terminal, and A21 bus stops, with #13/#14 from the airport and #5 to the airport. Communication in English was good, and the staff were responsive and accommodating. Free internet worked too. Based on our experience, I highly recommend this guesthouse. Hope this helps.
