The online photos are a lie. This isn't a hotel, it's a hostel type house, and they don't tell you that you have to pay cash. Your foreigner card worn work here. It's next to a smelly dirt canal, with construction and traffic nearby. You have to ring the bell every time you want to get in from the street, and they lock you in and out. You can hear the bell all over the rooms, and it keeps going with all the rapid (delivery) services.

My room was clean but worn out. It's a low-budget motel in a relatively upscale part of town, so as long as you don't expect a luxury hotel, it's fine.

My husband and I come back whenever we're in Bogotá. It's safe, and the service is excellent. The location is ideal for us, close to clinics, banks, and shops, and the price is very affordable compared with other places nearby. Highly recommended.

The rooms were mediocre. The TV was set up wrong, so I could only use it on the last day, the toilet was clogged, and having the refrigerator in the bathroom was unpleasant. They wouldn't offer breakfast for sale, apparently because they didn't feel like it, even though they did for other people. The security guard was very unprofessional. The woman who says she's the owner had a disgusting attitude, with terrible manners, and her children were the same. There was no kindness or empathy for guests. From the reviews, it seems other people have had a bad experience too. We should complain directly to the company. Anyone thinking of booking with Ayenda can read what happened during my stay HERE! A disastrous stay. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money or put yourself through a terrible time. The energy in this house is awful.
