Hotel Boutique Palacete

I gave it one star only because there’s no option for zero. I arranged a one-night room for my uncle by phone, and they told me to make the reservation over WhatsApp. I got their confirmation, but on the day he was due to arrive, less than two hours after check-in time, they called him to say the reservation had been canceled and there were no other rooms available. They claimed I hadn’t called to confirm, though nobody had told me I needed to. I had to scramble to find another hotel late that afternoon. Totally not advisable.

I’ve only used the conference room. It’s comfortable, and the staff were attentive, but the video projector didn’t have good definition and we had trouble connecting to the WiFi. There’s no parking lot, and when we had lunch there, we had to wait a long time.

I wouldn’t have booked through Expedia if I’d known breakfast wasn’t included. It said it was, and that was a lie. I would’ve chosen an Airbnb with a kitchen instead.

The dining room is nice and the service was great, but the room furnishings need updating. The location behind Corferias wasn’t convenient.
