Hotel Le Manoir Bogota

The location is very good, and the hotel looks beautiful and well kept outside the rooms. But the room I had for two nights looked more like a roadside motel and was nothing like the pictures. The key card was old and dirty. I asked the young woman for a sleeve, but she said they no longer use them for sustainability reasons. Breakfast was good, with coffee and hot chocolate, but no hot water for tea. I asked for some and had to remind her. It finally came after I'd finished eating. The employees looked like young students, but were very polite. I'd stayed here once before and had a better experience, but I can't recommend it now. I emailed and Paola Lorena Rodriguez (Booking Executive) replied that I'd been given the Superior Room I booked, though it wasn't. She said I needed to request a change at check-in, which I had done, but the receptionist said she'd make the change for more money.

A quiet street, with restaurants at every level and hot, fresh street carts all around the neighborhood. The staff were great, and get the breakfast buffet, it's good quality and changes each day. An art boutique in the heart of Bogota.

The restaurant food was superb, and the staff were outstanding. This upscale hotel has a classic European feel with modern amenities and touches. It's in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping, dining, and attractions. There's also a separate wine bar and conversation salon. Absolutely loved it.

The location is amazing and the hotel looks nice, but what they charge doesn't match what they offer. The rates are for a four-star hotel, and I'm not sure it still meets that standard. Water temperature was inconsistent, the shower kept leaking all day, and the elevator mostly didn't work. The Wi-Fi was really, really bad, and its firewalls blocked almost everything online, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot to work. I'd only stay here for a very reduced price.
