The Cranky Croc family, thank you! This hostel sits in a beautifully renovated historic house near Bolívar Square, with a great atmosphere for meeting people from around the world. The staff are outstanding and made us feel at home. Mari, Fari, Camila, and Robert gave wonderful service. Best hostel ever!

I’ve stayed here twice and found it more laid back than the social or party hostel some reviews describe. It’s a great hostel, with a good breakfast, though I’m not sure whether they serve food at other times. There is a bar, but it isn’t very active. The street seems safe and security is good.

This was the perfect place to begin our trip, and all the recommendations we got were spot on. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable. There’s a welcoming eating and bar area, great food, and IPA on tap. A separate seating spot makes it easy to chat with other travelers, while still giving you a place to spend time alone. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hostel is really well designed. Highly recommended.

Arriving in Colombia as a solo traveler, I was glad I picked this hostel for my first stay. The staff were genuinely lovely, kind, and helpful, and I felt comfortable asking them whatever I needed to get used to how things work in the country. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my journey. ❤️

This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at so far in Colombia. The private sleeping pod is nice and the bed is comfortable. The service is friendly, and it’s a great base for visiting the museums of La Candelaria.
