The pool is kept up, and there’s an upstairs spot to relax. The facilities are adequate, with WiFi, and breakfast comes with local fruit, coffee, toast, and spreads. It’s quiet Sunday through Thursday, then gets livelier as the weekend approaches. I booked three nights, stayed for five, and could easily have stayed longer. The owner and staff are welcoming and happy to suggest coffee spots, places to eat, and day trips nearby. The hostel is close to central and San Antonio. Most food and drinks are in SA, while supermarkets are in central. If you’ll arrive late, let them know by phone, WhatsApp, or email. There’s usually a backlog of current guests trying to rebook.

There’s a small, lovely pool that’s perfect for cooling off in Cali’s sun and average 30°C weather, though it’s not for swimming laps. If you’re looking to go out, Canoa, the hostel’s own little disco, is really small but nice. I was there for three days and two nights for an event, and our group had the whole hostel reserved. The rooms weren’t luxurious, but they were clean, comfortable, and nice enough. It’s in a cultural hotspot, with a museum, theater, and historic sites all within a block.

It’s great value for the money. This brand new hostel is right next to Theatro Municial, in a very central spot in the San Antonio District, with everything nearby and convenient.

I loved the atmosphere here. The service is great and the location is good. They have dance and yoga lessons in the morning, and sometimes there’s a party too. I’d recommend it to everyone.
