I really liked the hostel's look, especially the great terrace with hammocks. The do-it-yourself breakfast was a highlight too, with two eggs, bread, fruit, cereal, and unlimited coffee with milk. Granada, in the north of Cali, is a lively, pleasant area. The bus station was a 30-minute walk away, and I felt safe walking to and from the city center, even at night. Sleep was the hard part. The beds were clean and comfortable, and each had two plugs, but the dorms are next to the bathrooms and the walls are very thin, so it was noisy. The hostel is mostly open rather than divided by indoor walls, and there seemed to be plenty of mosquitoes in the room. They kept biting and waking me up even with earplugs and lots of bug spray. The beds also shake quite a bit when the other person moves. Mosquito nets and curtains would help with sleep, since the room isn't very dark either. Maybe putting citronella in the room regularly could help with the mosquitoes too.

The location was handy, the hostel was clean, and breakfast was great. We also booked a salsa lesson with Luis, who was a lovely teacher and really helped us. A couple of small things would make the dorm better: hooks in the shower for clothes, plus a reading light by the bed or a privacy curtain.

After three weeks here, it had started to feel like family, and I’m already hoping to come back soon. It’s a small place but still very social, with really cool people around. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, the location is great, and the salsa classes are amazing, with three free sessions each week. I also took extra classes with Steven, an amazing teacher who helped my dancing improve so much. Definitely the best place to stay in Cali!

Nico deserves a big shoutout for being so helpful and keeping the atmosphere positive. The hostel was clean, the vibe was relaxed, and everyone was friendly. I’d happily stay at RollinKeepers Hostel again.

The staff and manager were amazing, and it was easy to make friends in this really cute hostel. It’s in a safe area within walking distance of the Boulevard. Breakfast is included, and the salsa classes, held three times a week, were a lot of fun. The beds were really comfortable too. Best place to stay in Cali, and I’d love to come back!
