Hotel Palma Roja

Everyone was very friendly, and the rooms are nice, feel clean, and get cleaned every day. The air conditioning was broken, though I didn’t feel I needed it. There also seemed to be a shower leak, so the bathroom floor was always wet. Otherwise, very good.

The reservation experience was terrible, so there was no need to go. The person I contacted through WhatsApp was incredibly rude. I don’t recommend it.

The hotel has a great location and nice rooms, but the customer service from the woman who works there was terrible. She was very rude to customers, and they should train her in customer service. I’d stayed at the hotel several times, but after she told me she hoped I wouldn’t come back, I won’t. She said the excess would be 25 thousand pesos the day before, then charged me 30 thousand pesos for two hours. I’d checked in on the 17th at 9 in the morning, with my stay covered until the 18th at 9 in the morning. She also said the energy was very expensive and made other comments like that. It’s a shame that someone like this drives customers away, because the hotel itself is nice.

Reception says you have to pay daily, as if it were a boarding house, and as a guest you’re treated like a criminal. The rooms have a strong, grimy smell that lingers all day. I don’t recommend it.
