Hotel Campestre Solar De La Luna

The grounds are beautiful, the pool is gorgeous, and the hosts are lovely. We found the accommodations very comfortable, with thoughtful details like soap, plenty of hooks, a safe for valuables, a hammock on each porch, a garden in the room, and two sinks. The on-site restaurant serves some good basic quick food. The road is bumpy for a short stretch because it’s unpaved just off the main road, but it didn’t take away from the stay. The rooms were quite warm when we arrived. There are fans, which helped, though it took a while to cool down. My family likes cooler rooms, so it would be nice to have screen material on the windows and leave them open at night. Apart from those two things, the place was perfect, and it’ll be our place to stay when we’re in the area.

The two owners, brothers, welcomed us warmly and looked after us personally throughout our stay. The finca has lovely architecture, a beautiful pool area, and peaceful, lush green surroundings. We ate very well, with normal-sized portions. It’s a great getaway close to the airport, but we didn’t hear airplane noise. Highly recommended!

The owners and staff made us feel very welcome, and the place is perfect for getting away, relaxing, and connecting with nature. It feels like a little town and is a real hidden gem, with an amazing view of Cordillera Central. Several attractions are close enough too. Hands down, a unique and beautiful place.

The hosts and employees were incredibly kind, and the food was delicious. The rooms are clean, original, and pleasant. With the views, location, and soul of the place, this is undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve visited in Colombia. It’s 10 minutes from El Eden airport, 20 minutes from Armenia, and 20 minutes from the Botanic garden and recuca park. After one stay, you’ll really think about coming back. I know I do.
