Hotel Laureles Park

I nearly missed my flight because of the receptionist. She took my watch and only returned it after I said I was going to call the police. The beds were hard and dirty, and the laundry service overcharged us and lost some of our clothes. Keep your money and passport with you if you stay here. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, even as a last resort.

The only reason we stayed was that this was the only pet-friendly hotel in Laureles that would take more than one pet per room. My cat had already been through two room changes, so I was reluctant to leave and move us again. Still, this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Our first room was okay, though the WiFi didn't work the first night. While we were out, they moved us, saying there was a problem with the room. In the second room, I saw five or six bugs flying near the ceiling and what looked like flea dirt on the bed, so I asked to move again. The third room was fine except the shower kept losing water mid-shower, and sometimes the water was only cold. After one night, they told us we'd have to move again because another guest wanted our room. I said I'd pack up and leave if they tried to put us in a fourth room. The staff could be rude and unprofessional, and the rooms weren't cleaned daily. There's no elevator, so you have to carry heavy bags up two to four flights of stairs. The air conditioner worked well, and Kentucky Fried Chicken is right next door. Unless you need a place that accepts multiple pets, I'd look for one of the better hotels in Laureles.

The room was spacious, and there was a jacuzzi and shared rooftop access. Breakfast was a modest packaged meal, and there's a nice bar and laundry next door. Laureles is a good neighborhood. Our room had no window, and the noise was a problem because it shared a wall with the loud KFC ventilation. The pedal on the trash bin didn't work.

The receptionist sometimes fell asleep, and we'd get locked out. There was no breakfast, the rooms were barely ever cleaned, and the bathrooms had mold. The receptionist and her friends played loud music all day, disturbing guests. They don't take cards. Terrible hotel, stay away.
