The accommodations were phenomenal, and everything was clean. Everyone we dealt with was attentive and so nice. It was a professional, safe, fun experience, one of the best vacations I’ve had. I miss the people, the city, and the house already!

The staff kept the house clean and working around the clock, and the city views were impeccable any time of day. It’s a great place for a bachelor party or a large group of 10 or more, and we had an amazing, unforgettable time. Just keep your expectations for amenities and cleanliness grounded if you’re used to the US or Western Europe. The WiFi worked inconsistently; showers offered either hot water at low pressure or colder water at higher pressure. Don’t drink the tap water. I saw some mold and other grossness in the rooms and showers, though it was limited and didn’t ruin the stay. I took one star off for those issues.

The surrounding nature is beautiful and the place is spacious, which is why I gave it a 3. It needs an upgrade. There was very little hot water and the water pressure was poor. The beds were rock hard, there were no TVs or phones in the rooms, and there were no washcloths. It felt more like a large AirBNB than a hotel.

The mountain setting was secluded and felt safe, with a spectacular view. The staff were nice, and the tour guide hired by the Airbnb manager was punctual and showed us Medellin well. Still, I can’t recommend this place. The problems we reported to the manager went unaddressed, and this was the least accommodating place I’ve stayed. The food was very poor: undercooked chicken, soggy plantains and rice. I wouldn’t choose the extra cost “gourmet” breakfast and lunch package. The bedsheets were discolored and unclean, and there were dead mosquitoes and other insects in one bed. Another room had a foul smell and a corner with something that looked like mold. A bathroom sink pipe leaked in one bedroom, reported on day one and never fixed; a ceiling leak in another room soaked a bed and its pillows. WiFi was out for the whole stay. After we raised it at check-in, the manager said it would be fixed but gave us just ONE hotspot for the house. It was extremely slow, worked for only a few devices, and reached only one room, despite several of us needing WiFi for work and international calls. Most rooms had no hot water, so 15 of us took turns using the three rooms that did. Pressure was usually low, and sometimes the water stopped completely. When hot water did come, it was in steaming hot droplets. Many of us went days without a proper shower. The showers were poorly designed too, and water could easily spill onto the room floor. Power went out several times, supposedly “due to the weather.” There’s no generator, and the owner said generators aren’t typical in the area. Rain is more frequent on the mountain, so outages are more likely. During our four-day stay it rained at some point every day, while it had stopped by the time we got into the city. The rooftop jetted tub was full of cloudy green water that smelled like urine when we arrived. We expected the amenities to be cleaned, sanitized, and ready, but they weren’t. The tub in the club / dance room wasn’t cleaned and prepared until the second-to-last day of our three-day stay, and then it was far too hot to use. That amenity had been a big selling point. The staff seemed under the influence because their eyes were bloodshot. They sometimes disappeared, and we had to let ourselves through the gate several times when returning from the city, which made the house feel insecure. When traveling, adequate security matters. Getting there can be difficult too. Most cars won’t make it up the mountain for pickup or drop-off, and taxis or Ubers could take a long time. Sometimes they left us at the bottom and we had to walk up to the gate, potentially in the more frequent mountain rain. Medellin is beautiful, and it hurts to write this review, but I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

The view is nice, and the workers and host were amazing. Many blessings to them. But the place was very dirty and not cleaned, the security was bad, and the amenities you’d expect at a hotel just weren’t there. We had to reuse the same towels, and the maid service never showed up, according to what he told us. The place was supposed to be renewed, but it looked worse. It’s ridiculously expensive for what you get. The owner takes advantage of the workers and wants two guys to do everything in that big house instead of spending on maids and services. BORJA, you’re charging a lot for the photos while providing nothing. There are many places in Medellín from 700 to 1.200 usd a night, including mansions and penthouses with everything included and fresh, new accommodations. We even had to hire a bodyguard. You should have better hotel management, Sir. This is so disappointing. En el ministerio de trabajo, eso da demanda señor, si no sabía, pero como son venezolanos, that's why you love them to take advantage... incredible 🤮 blessings sir
