The garden is so lovely and calm, it hardly feels like you’re in a city. The hostel’s in a great location, too, and the kitchen has everything you need. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. By far the nicest place I stayed in Medellin. I can’t recommend it enough!

There’s lots of space, the staff are friendly, and it’s a good neighborhood if you’re up for dancing!! ;) And the smoothie bowl is a nice little extra.

The city tour really helped me understand Medellín’s history and social changes, and Ricky and Fede were brilliant guides. Betty's Bowls was another highlight, with incredible service and live music on Sundays that you really shouldn’t miss. The hostel itself was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas. Even in a 10-person dorm, there was plenty of room. Outside, the area is buzzing with restaurants and clubs, but inside it’s completely quiet. The stream’s sound made my nights so relaxing, and the great coffee in the morning started my day right. Everyone had such good energy, and every receptionist I met was awesome, with fantastic English. Wow, that’s honestly the best way to describe the stay.

There are lots of common areas where you can relax, and the kitchen, bathroom, and room were all very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

El Poblado is busy, but this was a nice, quiet, and safe place to stay. The staff were super lovely. It didn’t feel very social while I was there, though.
