The service was really nice, but noise was a serious problem. My floor had lots of guests who seemed to be friends, and they started playing music at 6 a.m. and talking all morning. It’s not entirely the hotel’s fault, but with so little soundproofing, every conversation, laugh, clap, and stomp becomes infuriating. Someone speaking at the far end of the corridor sounds like they’re right in your room. There was also confusion over the price: the hotel apparently hadn’t received any indication from booking.com that we had a discount, so they tried to charge us the full amount. The location isn’t very nice either.

The restaurant served delicious food made with fresh ingredients, and the staff were kind and ready to help. Hotel Encanto has a modern, elegant feel, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. I loved my stay and can’t wait to return.

Hotel Encanto is in the city center, with Popayán’s historic sights, restaurants, and shops close by. The staff made the stay especially welcoming: everyone was courteous, warm, and attentive, and went out of their way to help. I also liked the sleek furniture and thoughtful details in the rooms, which felt brand new and carefully maintained. The minimalist decor gives the place a calm, stylish atmosphere, mixing modern design with a touch of sophistication. It was easy to relax after exploring the city. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for modern luxury and heartfelt hospitality in Popayán, whether traveling for leisure or business.

The place was clean and the location was okay, but I was charged the 19% tax even though foreign visitors aren’t supposed to pay it. My shower stayed cold the whole time. Three times I was told it had been fixed, but the water was still cold. The room was cold too, with no heating or air conditioning.

The rooms are clean and orderly, and the homemade food is delicious. It’s a beautiful hotel with quality service, and I really recommend it.
