The location is about 20 km, or 13 miles, from downtown Villa de Leyva, but the stay was AMAZING!!!!!!! We had a room overlooking a valley and watched beautiful sunsets. Mrs Stella helped make our anniversary special with an exquisite dinner on our balcony beneath the stars. The rooms are spotless and trendy. One small tip: shut the door carefully at night, or you'll be opening mosquito hunting season. It's a peaceful place without kids, which made it even nicer for couples. There are lots of ways to rest and recharge here. We'll definitely be back.

The complimentary breakfast each morning was fantastic, especially the pancakes and egg dishes. And the burger at night was 10/10. We loved our two nights at Alma: the staff were incredibly kind and generous, and the hotel made a wonderful escape into the mountains and local nature. I highly recommend it.

We only stopped in for lunch, though you can stay overnight too. It's a lovely place to connect with nature and spend time with family or your partner.
