The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were especially kind and attentive. My room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, and being right in the center made getting around easy. I really enjoyed staying at Balcones del Ayer and would happily book it again if I return to Salento.

We ate really well here, from regular dishes to burgers, and the drinks were delicious too. The restaurant staff clearly put a lot into making guests feel good. Our stay was great as well: spacious rooms and bathroom, parking, and staff who were kind and ready to help whenever needed. Breakfast was incredibly good.

We ended up extending our stay twice because we just didn't want to leave. Sebastian and his team kept helping us warmly with everything we needed, and we felt so welcome the whole time. Such a great place to stay in this beautiful town.

The beds were the one real letdown. Although the mattresses looked recently refurbished, we still woke with back pain, so the bedding could use some work. The rest of our stay was pleasant: the room was spotless, the service was exceptional, and we enjoyed the range of breakfast choices. Free parking was handy, the balcony was nice, and the location near the main park was perfect.
