Ecohotel Pinohermoso

Bring a sweater for the evenings. It's a really quiet, lovely finca surrounded by greenery and fresh air, with beautiful animals and sweet dogs. The owner and manager were very friendly, took us to the waterfall hike, and arranged lots of things when we asked.

We loved this place and will remember it for a long time. If you enjoy nature and farm life, it's hard to beat. Walking to our cabin at night through a cloud of fireflies made everything feel magical. In the morning we went to the farm area and helped with the cows. One had given birth overnight, which made it extra special. The room was nice, though it had some big cracks in the wall. That may be normal for this part of the world, but it took a little getting used to. The bed was so comfortable that we happily lay there watching the view during a thunderstorm. The three dogs at the main house are friendly and add character, as does the people-loving cat. Absolutely loved staying here.

The farm's nature is unbelievable, and the setting was peaceful and close to the valley. It was exactly the kind of place we hoped to find near Cocora Valley, and we fell in love with it. Alvaro and Adriana took such good care of us. Dinner was so delicious, breakfast was amazing, and their service was lovely. Thank you so much. We'll be back as soon as we can. We hiked from the hotel up to the top of a hill, and the views were gorgeous. The hotel is peaceful and serene, with lovely animals, between Salento and Cocora Valley. Alvaro was a wonderful host, made us an incredible breakfast, and took great care of us as vegetarians. He even dropped us at Cocora Valley and later in Salento. We had an amazing stay.
