Hostal Bosque de Niebla

Breakfast runs from 7 to 9am, and we found it good, especially with the Cocora Valley hike in mind. The Lady looking after us was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed a couple of nights at Bosque de Niebla with my partner; our room was clean, the hotel felt spacious, and the wifi worked very well. It's close to the city centre and bus station, though Salento itself is small. We'd gladly stay again. Thank you.

It's more like a hotel with a shared central room than a hostal, and it worked well for us as a couple visiting Salento. The place was very clean and comfortable, and the woman running it was so kind and helpful. We were about 5 minutes from the center, which gave us a break from the noise and traffic. The showers were hot too. I'd stay again.

The location was okay, but our room had a really strong damp smell, and by morning our clothes were damp too. The double bed was uncomfortable and very small. At this price, it was disappointing that breakfast wasn't included, since most places include it.

The owner was very kind, even though my Spanish wasn't very good. The hotel is a lovely skyblue color, on a quieter street, and you can walk to Boliva square in about 5 minutes.
