The price was very reasonable for a central location, so for what we paid, the apartment offered decent value. We knew in advance it would be simple, without much luxury, like other private island apartments. We arrived around 12:30, before check-in, and Sr. Jorge kept our bags. We agreed to return at 3, but when we got there on time, a woman was still cleaning, so we didn't get the place until around 3:30. There are no outside-facing windows, and after a few days the smell of damp clothes started to bother us. The kitchen has pots, cutlery, and a refrigerator, though it could use a few more things. The double-bed mattress needs replacing, there's already a dip in the middle. The main bathroom is large and practical, and there's a small washroom in the entry area. I'd recommend it and would return, since other local places tend to be expensive and offer no more, apart from hotels that charge exorbitant prices.

The apartment itself turned out pleasant enough and saved us a few pesos, even though the building gave us a bit of a 'nothing to do' feeling when we walked in. The kitchen has all the utensils we needed, and the simple rooms were adequate, each with air conditioning. The bathroom was the weak point: the shower leaked and left the outside area very wet, and its cleanliness disappointed us.

It's an easy walk to the tourist center, with supermarkets nearby. The place is cozy, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, TV, internet access, and a kitchen for making your own meals. Don Jorge was super attentive and helpful, and the place was simple but comfortable, cozy, and really pleasant. The location is excellent. I fell in love with San Andrés and its culture, and everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. I'll be back, and I highly recommend it.
