The views from up top were amazing, and the climb was worth it. The resort sits high on the island, so there are lots of stairs. It has a Finca 🇨🇴 “resort” feel, which was what I wanted, even though it’s “far” from the center. Everyone on staff was pleasant and welcoming.

Rocky Cay is framed by palms and the reef, all set over the legendary Sea of Seven Colors. Seeing that view has me looking at the island with completely fresh eyes. It’s breathtaking. You really have to see it!

Everything went smoothly from the time I arrived until I left. It was easy to book activities, and the prices seemed quite reasonable. I had an exceptional experience and would gladly come back. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tropical paradise.

The staff were friendly, but I never found the place where lunch was served because it wasn’t marked very well. The tour guides call it a four-star resort, though I’d give it two. You need a shuttle to get to the beach, and the food is just okay. The Italian restaurant is worth booking every night you’re there. There’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms, so if you don’t have a phone service local to South America, you have to go to the lobby to check your mail.

The pools are the best part. The hotel feels dated, and the old bathrooms don’t work properly. There are too many stairs for it to be convenient for people with disabilities. The beach has a lot of sargasso and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years.
