Siete Hierbas Hostal

We found this hostel by chance while on a bike trip, and we're glad we did. Alejandro was a fantastic host, going out of his way to help and make sure we had what we needed. It's tucked away at the edge of town, but well worth visiting. The rooms are great, the bed was comfortable, and the common areas felt welcoming. Highly recommended.

There's a great vibe here, with a lovely green setting on the edge of the city. Nice bars, restaurants, and clubs are still an easy walk away. The outdoor kitchen was really cool, and we could use it whenever we wanted. The owner is fantastic, welcomed us so warmly, and we exchanged lots of knowledge. We'll definitely be back! Gracias 🤙🤙

We came to see the hot springs near Santa Rosa, but staying at this amazing hostel with Alejandro as our host was the real highlight. His recommendations each day were great, and we learned so much about the town and Colombia. We were here for two days and wish we could have stayed longer. We'd come back in a heartbeat, and anyone visiting this beautiful, welcoming part of the world should stay here too. Thanks for such a great stay.

This is easily my favorite hostal after traveling all over South America, Europe, Australia, and the US. It feels sweet, clean, colorful, and homey, without a party vibe. The hosts are so loving and accommodating. They helped me book buses and taxis and plan my time in Santa Rosa. They also shared what they know about medicinal herbs and let me try some infusions and liquors. I really hope I can come back. Such an amazing spot. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs, since the street can get a little noisy in the morning. See you soon! Mil gracias Alejandro!
