A cozy spot in a really tranquil area, close enough to lots of places. Friendly staff, good rooms, and an amazing shower.

The hardest part was having to leave. We loved this tucked-away spot, and the staff went out of their way to help, even finding wine glasses and arranging a horseback riding trip for us. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and breakfast was delicious. Their dog was a joy too, so friendly and incredibly well trained. We can’t wait to return.

Consuelo made it easy to explore, drawing us a map of places to see and pointing us toward some really good restaurants. The house feels warm and welcoming, with roomy, charming bedrooms, comfy beds, and thoughtful decor. The garden views are beautiful, and the location gives you some quiet while keeping town close by. They welcome pets, too. Rigoberto, their sweet golden retriever, knows how to give five. Have some bread ready when you ask!

We had a relaxed stay at Casa San Nicolas, just outside Villa de Leyva. The gardens are lovely and well cared for, and the rooms have a stylish colonial look that suits the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was great, and the staff were warm and attentive. They even encouraged us to use the fireplace, play games together, and put on music.

A lovely, quiet hotel in a large, traditional Villa de Leyva home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The price was great too. I’d definitely recommend it.
