Toucan Hostel

I was only here overnight during a layover, and they made things easy. The front desk was great, helped with any issue, arranged a taxi for the morning, and even offers wake-up calls. Shout-out to receptionist abraham for sorting everything out. For $60, a private room worked well for me and could fit two. It was clean, with air conditioning, though the rooms could use an update. The beds are firm, which is good if you have back problems. Most rooms are close to or right beside the shared bathroom and shower. There’s also a communal kitchen downstairs, a pool, and a nearby restaurant and grocery store. They offer tourist adventures too. There’s no TV in the room unless you pay quite a bit extra. Still, it was a great stay for the price.

The room was clean and nice, with both a bath and shower. But the walls are paper-thin, and being right under the flight path made it very, very noisy.

The dog park across the street was a huge help. Our pup could run around every morning and evening, which made both him and us happy. Toucan Hostel is wonderfully welcoming to pets, with no odd rules or extra fees, just genuine enthusiasm for dogs. The common areas were spotless, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff were friendly and always happy to chat or offer a recommendation. Great location and value, and easily the most dog-friendly hostel I’ve stayed in. VERY VERY CLEAN AND TIDY.

Super clean, and in a convenient spot for the airport, with stores within walking distance. The team were accommodating and very efficient. I’m looking forward to booking again, thanks so much!
