Cabinas Piuri - Campsite

Sandra is an awesome host, and we loved the fresh breakfast each morning: traditional gallo pinto, coffee, and watermelon smoothies. She even made local leaf medicinal tea that helped balance my upset stomach. The room is a quaint, whimsical egg-shaped concrete space with AC and a bathroom. Best of all, it's steps from your own private access to the Rio Celeste, the bluest and most beautiful river I've ever seen. One of our favorite spots in Costa Rica, and a must on your travel list.

We picked this place on a road trip with friends because it was the best value we found. It isn't luxurious, but it worked really well for our needs, and the staff were lovely. The space was clean, and the river access was the highlight of the experience. The river is very secluded, and we had it to ourselves in the evening and again in the morning. It was our favorite place to stay so far. I highly recommend it!

The rooms were simple, practical, and clean, and the traditional breakfast was tasty. The owners are really sweet, and the location is great. The river swimming spot is incredible. I'd stay again.

The location is right next to the park, though you'll need to drive there, and the free swimming pool is within walking distance. We really liked the private river access, too. The service was very good, and the free breakfast was a bonus. One of our favorite places, with spacious, private rooms.
