Cheap and in the best spot for walking down to the beach. Supermarkets and a bakery open early. Good deal, from $15 up to $30 a night.

The location is handy, five minutes on foot from the beach and one minute from a supermarket. The beds and rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning works well, and Laura, the owner, is really friendly. Tours around the area are connected through the Corcovado Info Center, and the guides are excellent.

I lost my luggage in transit and was having trouble sorting it out. He kindly offered to call the airport for me, since my Spanish and English are both very poor. The place itself is lovely and quiet, with hammocks, a clothesline, a sofa area and a desk. They even have pancake batter in the morning, a small pool, and hot water! 😋
