Hotel Campo Verde

We enjoyed having our own separate cabin, which gave us a lot of quiet and privacy. The rooms were very clean and staff looked after them daily. Ours was spacious, with a big bed, wardrobe, two comfortable chairs and a table, coffee and tea, a fridge, TV, and solid, fast internet. The bathroom was roomy, with a large shower and jet tub, though the tub was odd: its jets ran for about 15 seconds, stopped, then would start up again randomly every few minutes. There was plenty of hot and cold water. They were a bit light on towels, but brought fresh ones when we asked, or we could hang ours up to reuse them. The volcano view from the cabins depends on the weather. During our four days, clouds covered it completely for two days, it was about 35% covered one day, and around 15% on the clearest day. If you're checking a satellite view, there isn't a pool. There is a private forest trail with lovely views, and we often saw monkeys and sloths. I suspect there are also lots of homes in the earth with crabs or female tarantulas. IYKYK. Breakfast was included and self-serve, with plenty of hot and cold choices. Ask the staff if something's missing or if you have dietary concerns. The coffee was great. One special option was booking a spa treatment right in your cabin. There was enough room for a couples session with two tables, and Carla and Natalia gave us fantastic massages.
