Cabinas Dormi Bene

Check-in was incredibly quick, about twenty seconds to hand over the cash and get the key. You can park right by your door, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Best of all, the shower has great pressure and properly hot water. I hate Whimpy showers, and this one is awesome.

For $30, it worked fine as a stop to sleep, shower, and eat. The place felt safe and I didn't have any other problems, though the bed and pillows weren't comfortable, and both the comforter and bathroom smelled. You get what you pay for, so it wasn't going to be the world's best stay. Being able to order delivery from Comida Rapida Express, which seems connected to the hotel, made it worthwhile. It was my first time ordering food by phone in Spanish. My Spanish is no bueno, so I wasn't sure I'd ordered right or that it would arrive, but it did.

The rooms are okay for what you pay, but the manager was rude for no reason every time we dealt with him, on the phone, at check-in, and at checkout. He acted as though helping us was a favor and we were bothering him. We saw him treat other guests the same way, so it seems to be his usual behavior. We won't go back.

The blankets and pillows were covered in mold, and my partner developed rashes and pus from how dirty they were. The staff were disgusting, and the owner treated my partner terribly on the phone. He only lowered his voice when he saw me. Someone who treats women that way doesn't deserve our money. Then he knocked on our door from 4 AM, trying to get us to leave. If they can't afford soap, they should raise their prices. Even animals aren't kept in conditions this deplorable. I also understand why the owner responds to reviews the way he does. Read other reviews, or wait for his reply if you don't believe me. THE WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD. DO NOT GO TO THIS DISGUSTING PLACE under any circumstances.
