We stayed more than 10 days at hotel 3 monkeys and had a great time. The rooms are clean, and the staff are excellent. I brought ant traps, which turned out to be useful. Monkeys often came by, though from a distance. Montezuma beach and the restaurants were reachable on foot or by taxi, and having a rental car made it easier for me to explore the area. It's a good budget place to crash, and I look forward to going back.

We stayed here last Thanksgiving and enjoyed spending time with Wolf, the owner. The pool was nice, and the hotel is far enough from town that loud music isn't an issue.

The room was a good size, clean, air conditioned and comfortable, and there was a great pool. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place itself is beautiful and quiet, tucked into the mountains of montezuma, while the small town with its culture, great food and beach views is only a two-minute drive away.

The host was nice, and the rooms are simple. Just be aware that getting down to the main area means walking up a very steep hill. I'd strongly recommend a taxi if you don't have your own transportation.

Really lovely place, with beautiful facilities, lots of room, and a nice swimming pool. It's peaceful and quiet, though a bit of a trek from Montezuma downtown, so having transportation would be better.
