The staff were friendly and helped with all our questions and requests. The pool seemed clean and was in decent shape, and the location is very convenient if you want to stay in this area. Still, the facility is clearly outdated and there wasn't enough parking. No one told us in advance that the water isn't drinkable. If your room faces the main street, the noise can get really intense and make for a rough night.

The pool is good, and the hotel is close to the beach and some restaurants. The staff were nice too. But there was loud, obnoxious construction around 7:30 in the morning, which seems far too early for hotel work. In the room, the shower drained poorly and the shades didn't block any light. We also found a cockroach, which left me with a lot of questions about cleanliness.

Beautiful place, close to the beach and nice and cool. The food was good and service excellent, and the prices were very good. One tip: buy water for drinking and brushing your teeth. The water tastes like seawater, and that seems to happen in every local place or house around there.

The owner-manager is a great guy, really nice and gentlemanly. Puntarenas is a funky place to stop for a day when you're traveling along the coast and need a break. Breakfast is good and basic, but the omelet is awesome. The park down the block has little concerts and dancing.

We spent the whole day at Hotel Las Brisas in Puntarenas and felt very relaxed. The location was okay, and although the parking lot is a bit small, we managed to park right in front. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and plentiful. We especially liked the Gallo Pinto and the Chilli Guaro (haha). We had a good stay and would recommend Hotel Las Brisas to people visiting Puntarenas.
