The room felt cozy, and I really liked the hot shower. The staff were friendly, and the host's boyfriend even drove me to a local bar and joined me for a drink after I had trouble finding a cab. My only reason for giving four stars is that the hotel was hard to spot from the road. The sign was so small I passed it on the bus and had to take a cab back.

The bungalows feel like paradise, lovely and quiet, surrounded by nature. The “luxury” rooms are okay too, though street noise makes them very loud. Avoid the standard double rooms with private bathrooms. They were stuffy, smelly, and just horrible.

An okay hostel with the basics. It's a bit rustic, as you'd expect in the jungle. November was so quiet that I'm not even sure the restaurant was open.
